Jeffrey Sullivan is a Managing Director and Partner at HighTower. He brings over 28 years of experience to his role at HighTower and, previous to that, to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where he served as a Senior Institutional Consultant and a member of the firm’s Directors’ Council.
His focus throughout his career has been in helping clients achieve their goals by building optimal portfolios with the tools of investment management consulting. These include Investment and Spending Policy development, strategic and tactical asset allocation, manager research and evaluation and ongoing monitoring.
His clients include both high net worth families and foundations and endowments. With the former, a host of additional comprehensive wealth planning strategies such as tax efficiency, retirement and estate planning and debt and insurance analysis are employed to meet their special needs.
He is a long time member of the Investment Management Consultants Association and serves on the Board of Directors of Aim House, Rosewood Center for Eating Disorders, Palm Beach Institute, E-Poll, Inc. and the New York Foundation.
Jeffrey received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University in 1978 and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business’ distinguished Investment Management Analyst Program, having earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.
